Noracora, a fast-fashion brand under the cross-border e-commerce company ChicV, leverages Google Ads services to drive sales growth and generate revenue. Facing a highly competitive market where immediate conversions often lead to high advertising costs, ChicV aimed to optimize its marketing strategy to acquire more high-quality and profitable traffic, with a target of 50% year-on-year growth in Gross Merchandise Value.


To achieve this, ChicV collaborated with Google to analyze Noracora's

 advertising approach. They identified a crucial opportunity: engaging consumers during the shopping exploration phase, which was a bottleneck preventing the acquisition of more customers and orders. To expand their potential customer base and ensure a continuous stream of high-quality traffic, Noracora decided to integrate richer ad formats, specifically Video Action Campaigns (VAC), to enhance their existing lower-funnel Performance Max campaigns.


The marketing strategy involved a six-week pre-post experiment in the Mix Country control group utilized only Performance Max campaigns, while a test group combined Performance Max with VAC. For Performance Max campaigns, ChicV employed a "Maximize conversion value" bidding strategy, with online purchases defined as the conversion goal. In contrast, VAC used "Maximize conversions" and "Target CPA" bidding, with "add to cart" clicks on Noracora's website serving as the conversion goal.


This dual-campaign approach allowed Noracora to identify potential shoppers who showed interest but hadn't yet committed to a purchase. The data gathered from the "add to cart" conversions in VAC was then fed into Performance Max. This integration enabled the Google AI-powered Performance Max campaign to capture relevant audiences and remarket effectively to these potential shoppers, ultimately driving them towards completing purchases.


Furthermore, to maximize the effectiveness of VAC, ChicV focused on optimizing its video creatives. Instead of starting from scratch, they efficiently combined and processed existing dynamic model and product image assets with Google's assistance. By applying established creative principles (ABCD), they developed compelling ads designed to encourage shoppers to take action. This comprehensive strategy, integrating various Google Ads solutions, helped Noracora to overcome marketing challenges, increase sales, and achieve significant revenue growth by reaching customers at different stages of their purchasing journey.
